F2 (BK Light) Setting the background illumination:
After pressing the SET button, press F2. With the buttons F2 and F3, you can set the
desired brightness of the background illumination from 1 to 31. To turn the background
illumination off, set „OFF“. Confirm your entry with the F4 button (ENTER).
F3 (Contrast) Setting the display contrast:
After pressing the SET button, press F3. With the buttons F2 and F3, you can set the
desired display contrast from 0 to 31. Confirm your entry with the F4 button (ENTER).
F4 (BEEP) Activating/deactivating the beeper:
The beeper activation/deactivation can be performed in the measuring ranges resi-
stance, diode test and continuity test. After pressing the SET button, press F4. With
the buttons F2 and F3, you can turn the beeper on (F2 ON) or off (F3 OFF). Confirm
your entry with the F4 button (ENTER).
Scope operation
Measuring signals can be displayed graphically in SCOPE operation. SCOPE opera-
tion is available for the measuring functions voltage, current and frequency. With the
„MODE“ button, you can select between DMM and SCOPE operation.
For activation, turn the rotary switch (3) to the voltage, current or frequency measu-
ring function. Select SCOPE mode with the MODE button.
The following display appears:
The basic parameters are displayed in the top line:
Measuring range: AC (switchable to DC with the
RANGE button)
Vertical deflection: e.g. 20 mV (adjustable in steps
of 1, 2 and 5, 20 mV – 500 V/DIV)
Time scale: e.g. 500 µS (adjustable in steps of 1, 2
and 5, 100 ns – 1s/DIV)
Operating modes: RUN (switchable to HLD with
the HOLD button)
Battery status display: (Display of the remai-
ning battery capacity
