REMEDY
Replace the fuse (16A for 12V, or 8A for 24V system
voltage).
Reset the fuse by pressing in the button.
Rectify any open-circuits/loose connections. Check
for oxidation on the contacts. If required, clean them
and spray with damp-inhibitor spray. See the wiring
diagrams on pages 70–83.
Replace key switch
Replace stop relay (or change temporarily with start
relay)

6. Engine runs on
CAUSE
● TAMD71, -72WJ: Stop solenoid fuse defective
(pos. 7 in wiring diagram page 73)
● One of the semi-automatic fuses in the junction
box has tripped (pos. 6 in the engine wiring dia-
gram page 71, pos. 4 in diagram on page 73, or
pos. 9 in diagrams on pages 75, 77, 79 and 81)
● Poor contact/break open circuit in wiring
● Faulty key switch
● Faulty stop relay*
● TAMD71, TAMD72WJ: Faulty stop solenoid
● TAMD71, TAMD72WJ: Stop controls incorrectly
adjusted/seizing
● TAMD63: Faulty solenoid valve (fuel shut-off
valve)
* TAMD63 has no stop relay.
** The stop solenoid should be adjusted by authorized service
personnel. Incorrect adjustment may destroy the solenoid.
