Group 28 Ignition systems
F ault tracing, TZ-28H
Place d ist r ibu t or int o II soft jaw vice.
Remove rotor arm .
R
emove trigger rotor c irclip.
Remove trigger rotor using two round-bladed sc rew -
dr iv ers (dia. appt'ox. 5 mm / . 20 '").
Place screwdriver tips under rotor hub and prise care·
ful ly upwards .
•
NOTE: Do not press against rotor vanes or damage
may result .
Take care to
ensure that locking pin does not fall in to
distributor .
Remove:
- circ lip
- Hall generat or retaini ng screw s

plast ic pin (A) securing c onnector .
