Undo control un it connector
Caut ion! The igni ti on must be sw itc hed off whenever
the connec tor is disconnected or reconnect-
ed.
Remove panel under leh-hand side of instrument
panel.
Re lease c onnector catch and separate connector from
control un it.

Remove protective cover from connector
Caution! Never insert ins t rument probes into front of
co nnector termina ls. This may cause dam-
age which will aggravate any faults present.
Always connect probes to terminals through holes in
connecto r side. tak in g care to avoid unn ecessa ry force.
Terminal numbers are marked on side of connector.

ChKk that all terminal s ockets are at same
hei ght in connector
Poor contact may result one terminal socket is lowe r
than the others.

ChK k bushar 30 supply
Measure volt age between control unit connector termi-
nal 5 ( brown ) and ground . Readi ng should be approx .
12 V.
If no readi ng is indicated , check lead between control
un it sleeve and busbar 30 supply at fuseholder .
