Route - avoid
With this function the driver can select to
avoid the next approaching section of a route.
The function Avoid only works where alterna-
tive streets/roads are available - otherwise
the highlighting, or parts of it, is ignored.
Route Avoid
Cursor on Avoid + OK opens the following
view, with the first possible subsection
already highlighted.
Highlighted subsection.
Highlight the desired action + OK:
•
Reroute - the system calculates another
route in which consideration has been
taken of the section to be avoided.
•
Longer - subsection to avoid is
extended.
•
Shorter - subsection to avoid is short-
ened.
•
Delete - highlighted subsections are
deleted and the route is restored to the
original version.
Using a similar function -

Alternative routes and route overview
Described here is how an alternative route to
the destination can be selected - from a list of
prepared alternative routes.
The subsequent "Route overview" function
shows the name of a highlighted intermediate
destination and the distance to reach it.
