PHONE SETTINGS
7.4.4 Change the System PIN Code
A 4-digit system PIN code is used for changing the system settings of the base station.
It is used to protect your phone against unauthorized use. The default system PIN code
is 0000.
Press and

to select BS SETTINGS.

to select CHANGE PIN.
Press .
Enter the old system PIN.
Press and enter the new system PIN.
Press and enter the new system PIN again.
NOTE
If the PIN you entered in Step 6 doesn’t match with the one entered in Step 5, you will
need to enter the PIN again in Step 5.
Press to conrm.
7.4.5 ECO Mode Setting

to select ECO MODE.

to select ON or OFF.
Press to conrm.
7.5 Registration
Your handset is pre-registered to the base station. Up to ve handsets can be
registered to a single base station. If for some reason, the handset is not registered to
the base station ( ) ashes even when the handset is near the base station), register
your handset to the base station again using the steps below.
Press and hold on the base station for about ve seconds, the base station is
entered into registration mode.

to select REGISTRATION on the handset.
Press and select the destination base you would like to register to.
Press .
Enter the 4-digit system PIN.
Press to conrm.
If the handset registration is successful, you will hear a conrmation tone and the
icon will stop ashing. The handset will automatically be allocated the next available
handset number. This handset number is shown on the handset screen in idle mode. If
the handset registration is unsuccessful, the icon will still ash.
