2.5 Install and Charge the Handset Batteries
Slide open the battery compartment cover.
Place the two batteries as indicated. Check that the polarity is correct.
Slide the battery compartment cover back.
Put the handset on the base and charge for 14 hours for the rst charge. A beep
indicates that the handset is properly placed on the base or charger.
NOTES
Use only the supplied NiMH rechargeable batteries.
If you do not use the handset for a long time, disconnect and remove the batteries to
prevent possible leakage.
