Repair Engine and Upper Machine Components

Installation
Perform the procedure below to install the engine.
4.24.1 Apply Loctite® 243 to the four engine studs (w).
4.24.2 Slide the engine
(e) (with clutch installed) into the machine.
4.24.3 Loosely install the support bracket (d) and heat shield (a) with nut (n).
Install the other three nuts and torque them to 25 Nm (18 ft.lbs.).
4.24.4 Reconnect the throttle cable
(x) to the swivel (y) and the clamp (z).
4.24.5 Fit the lower guard to the support bracket. Then, using Loctite® 243
on the screws, install the lower guard (c) to the engine. Torque the
screws to 25 Nm (18 ft.lbs.). Torque the support bracket screw
(n) to
25 Nm (18 ft.lbs.).
4.24.6 Install the low oil shutdown switch with screws
(b).
