4 Putting into operation
4.1 Cabin/control stand
Safety instructions regarding entry and exit
Falling hazard when entering or exiting!
Entering or exiting incorrectly can cause injury.
► Keep the mandatory climbing aids clean.
► Use the mandatory climbing aids A for entering and exiting.
► Face the machine as you enter and leave it.
► Have damaged climbing aids replaced.
Entry and exit (canopy)
Stop the machine (see chapter “Operation, stopping the machine”).
If the machine is equipped with a canopy, it can be accessed from either
side.
Entry and exit via the tracks is only possible if the travel gear is
telescopically extended (telescopic travel gear only for ET18 and ET20).
Cabin entry and exit
Stop the machine (see chapter “Operation, stopping the machine”).
When entering or leaving the cabin on the left side, the door must be
locked in the arrester.
