7.10 Air filter
Important information regarding the air filter
• Store filters in their original packaging and in a dry place.
• Check air filter attachments, air intake hoses and the air filter element
for damage, and immediately repair or replace them if necessary.
• Check the screws at the induction manifold and the clamps for
tightness.
Dirt indicator
In order to avoid damage to the diesel engine, bear in mind the following:
► Replace the air filter elements as soon as the red mark on the dirt
indicator is displayed.
► Do not clean air filter elements, replace them.
► Do not use any damaged air filter elements.
Replace the air filter elements as soon as the red mark B is on the dirt
indicator A is displayed.
• After replacing the air filter elements, press button C to reset the red
mark B.
