7 OPERATION
7.1 TRAINING THE OPERATING PERSONNEL
The operating personnel must be qualied to operate the entire system.
The operating sta must be familiar with the potential risks associated with improper
behavior as well as the necessary protective devices and measures.
Before work commences, the operating personnel must receive appropriate system
training.
7.2 TASKS
Ensure that:
the regular safety checks are carried out in accordance with Chapter 8.2.3;
commissioning is carried out in accordance with Chapter 6.
7.3 OPERATING MODES
The powder pump can be operated in two ways:
in conjunction with a powder center or BigBag
used as a transfer pump
7.4 OPERATION WITH WAGNER POWDER CENTER
The powder pump is controlled via the powder center controller. The powder pump is
operated via the powder center touch screen (from PZ 2005).
Attention:
The powder pump can only be operated when the ventilator is switched on.
Standard equipment:
Two recipes for full or reduced ow rate are available.
The powder pump has a self-cleaning mode, which can be switched on via the powder
center or at the powder pump. First, the hoses are emptied, then the powder pump
cleaning function is activated.
The powder pump can be switched on and o manually with the START/STOP button,
or automatically via the powder level monitoring.
