9 TROUBLE SHOOTING AND SOLUTION
DANGER
Incorrect maintenance/repair!
Danger to life and equipment damage.
WAGNER devices, protective systems and safety, monitoring and control equipment
may only be serviced/repaired as dened in Directive 2014/34/EC (ATEX) by trained
WAGNER service personnel or skilled persons in accordance with TRBS 1203!
Note national regulations!
Service, repair or replacement of devices or parts of devices may only be performed
outside the hazard area!
Malfunction Cause Solution
Powder pump does not deliver – No release by powder center – Switch on ventilator in powder
center
– Pump or valve hose defective – Replace the hose
Fault LED lights up – Maximum number of pump
cycles reached
– Replace pump and valve hoses
– Reset cycle counter
(see Chapter 7.6)
Inadequate powder discharge – Cratering in the suction system – Top up powder and check
powder feed
– Hoses kinked – Lay hoses rounded, not bent
– Check piston air pressure
– Check service indicator
– Check uidization – Set correct uid air quantity
