Install the rear belt guard to the pump followed by the front belt
guard a
nd screw the two side screws. Make sure that the front
belt g
uard catches the shoulder washer in front of the pump.

Screw the two cap screws that hold the rear belt guard and slightly
push the
front belt guard against the shoulder washer and tighten
the two
cap screws.
4.5 Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting of the Encore 700 Series Metering Pump consists of pro-
cedures and instructions for repair and/or replacement of subassemblies
and components.
The troubleshooting procedures are limited tofault isolation toa defective
item. Potential problems that could be at fault and recommendations for
corrective action are listed in Table 4.3. Procedures are based on potential
fault conditions that may occur under normal pump operation.
