Audience and purpose
This guide is intended for personnel who operate and maintain the ACQUITY Arc
system.
Intended use of the ACQUITY Arc system
Waters designed the ACQUITY Arc system to perform liquid chromatography
separations in these environments:
• Pharmaceutical development and discovery
• Quality assurance and quality control
• Chemical materials
• Environmental
• Food safety
The system is not intended for use in diagnostic applications.
Calibrating
To calibrate LC systems, follow acceptable calibration methods using at least five
standards to generate a standard curve. The concentration range for standards must
include the entire range of QC samples, typical specimens, and atypical specimens.
