The dangers resulng from the risk assessment are presented in the following secon.
To minimize potenal health hazards and prevent dangerous situaons, the safety instrucons
listed below and the warning instrucons in the following chapters of these Operang
Instrucons must be observed.
Electrical current
DANGER!
There is an immediate danger of death if live parts are touched. Damage
to insulaon or individual components can be life-threatening.
Therefore:
» If there is damage to the insulaon, disconnect the power supply
immediately and arrange for repairs.
» Only allow electricians to carry out work on the electrical system.
» When any work is being carried out on the electrical system, it must
be disconnected from the mains supply and checked to ensure that
it is not live.
» Before carrying out maintenance, cleaning or repair work, the power
supply must be switched o and secured to prevent it being switched
on again.
» Do not bypass or shut down any fuses. Use fuses with the correct
amperage when replacing.
» Keep live parts away from moisture. This can cause a short circuit.

The use of E-FORCE appliances in potenally explosive atmospheres
is prohibited.
