Aer the baery is inserted into the charger's inseron slot, it is charged automacally
(the red LED illuminates connuously).
If the baery is too hot or too cold when it is inserted into the charger (red LED ashes)
the charging process begins automacally as soon as the baery has reached the correct
charging temperature (0°C - 65°C). The maximum charging current ows when the Li-Ion
baery temperature is between 0 and 65°C.
The charging me is between 1 min and 60 min depending on how full the baery was
previously (for 3.0 Ah). The charging me for the 5.0 Ah baery is between 1 min and 90 min.
Once the baery is fully charged, the LED on the charger switches from red to green.
The baery does not have to be removed from the charger once charging is complete.
The baery can remain in the charger permanently. This cannot over-charge it and so it is
always ready for use.
If both LEDs ash alternately, either the baery is not inserted properly, or there is a fault on
the baery or the charger. For safety reasons, take the charger and the baery out of operaon
immediately and have them checked by an authorised customer service locaon.
Flashing alternately!
If the power unit is overloaded, all LEDs ash 4x. To connue charging, unplug the power unit
and plug it back in.
Flashing simultaneously!
