4.10 Observance of the operating manual
Theoperatingmanualisprovidedbythemanufacturer
orsupplieroftheproductinordertoprovidetheuser
withessentialknowledgefortheproperandsafeuse
andtopointoutdangersinhandlingthemachine.
Beforestartingupthemachine,theoperatingmanualmustbeworked
through; it must be observed carefully during start-up. We point out
thatweacceptnoliabilityfordamageandmalfunctionsresultingfrom
non-compliancewiththeoperatingmanual.
Theillustrationsandinformationcontainedintheoperatingmanualare
subjecttotechnicalmodicationsnecessaryfortheimprovementofthe
machine.
4.11 Residual hazards and protective measures
Theknowledgeandtechnicalimplementationofthesafetyinstructions
containedinthisdocumentationisaprerequisiteforafaultlessproduct.
However,thisdocumentationcannotcoverallthedetailsofeverycon-
ceivablecaseofmachineuse.Therefore,asinanyothercase,especially
duetohumanerror,thereisaresidualrisk.Thisresidualriskshouldbe
kepttoaminimumbythisdocumentation.
4.12 Safety marking on the machine
Dangerandinformationpoints,aswellasimportantinfor-
mationmustbemarkedonthemachineand,ifnecessary,
duetodirtorifunrecognisable,cleanedorrenewed.
