response
• No display
No power to washer/dryer Check power at outlet, check circuit breakers, fuses, or juncon
box connecons.
Connecon problem between AC
plug and ACU.
Check connecons between the AC power cord and ACU for
connuity.
Connecons between ACU and UI. Check connecons and harness connuity between the ACU
and HMI.
ACU problem. See TEST #1: ACU Power Check, page 3-4.
HMI problem. See TEST #2: Human-Machine Interface (HMI), page 3-6.

No response when
START is pressed
Control lock is acvated. Check if the control lock icon above the Start buon is on. If so,
press and hold to deacvate it.
Door lock mechanism not
funconing.
1. Door not closed due to interference.
2. Lock not closed due to interference.
3. See TEST #4: Door Lock System, page 3-8.
Connecons between ACU and HMI. Check connecons and harness connuity between ACU and
HMI.
HMI problem. See TEST #2: Human-Machine Interface (HMI), page 3-6.
ACU problem. See TEST #1: ACU Power Check, page 3-4.


Control lock is acvated. Deacvate the control lock.
Connecons between ACU and HMI. Check connecons and harness connuity between ACU and
HMI.
HMI problem. See TEST #2: Human-Machine Interface (HMI), page 3-6.
ACU problem. See TEST #1: ACU Power Check, page 3-4.
 Door not closed. Ensure that door is completely closed.
Door lock obstructed. Check mechanism for obstrucon.
Door lock mechanism not
funconing.
See TEST #4: Door Lock System, page 3-8.


Reset washer/dryer. Unplug the washer/dryer, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect the
power cord. Wait 2 minutes to see if the washer/dryer door
unlocks.
Misaligned, broken, or over-
ghtened door latch.
Check door lock mechanism and repair as necessary.
Door lock mechanism not
funconing.
See TEST #4: Door Lock System, page 3-8.
 No water supplied to washer. 1. Check water connecons to washer.
2. Verify that water supply is turned on.
Dispenser clogged with detergent. Clean obstrucon from dispenser.
Valve problem See TEST #5: Inlet Valve, page 3-9.
Dispenser system problem. See TEST #10a & 10b: Dispenser System, page 3-14 to 3-16.


