Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer Overview
The Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer trims the top and bottom of sheets or booklets to produce an even edge. When
this device is combined with the SquareFold
®
Trimmer Module, the trimming produces a full bleed.
This optional finishing device requires one of the following Production Ready Finishers:
• Production Ready Finisher
• Production Ready Booklet Maker Finisher
• Production Ready Finisher Plus
The Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer is an optional finishing device that provides page creasing and trimming of
both ends of the output.
The Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer performs the following tasks:
• Trims 6–25 mm (0.24–0.99 in.) from the top and bottom of prints or booklets to produce an output with the
required finished width and appearance.
Note: If you crease the media within 62 mm of the lead edge, the chance of jams increases. The lowest
crease setting value of 1 cannot produce any visible crease on some media.
• Trims incoming media sizes 194 x 257 mm (7.6 x 10.1 in.) to 330.2 x 488 mm (13 x 19.2 in.).
• Trims incoming media sizes 52–350 g/m
2
or coated paper 106–350 g/m
2
.
When this device is paired with the SquareFold®
®
Trimmer, all sides of booklets can be trimmed, except the
binding, which enables the creation of full-bleed booklets. For more information, refer to SquareFold
