Power Options
The device is provided with the power switch and the main power switch.
POWER ON
After you power on the printer, it takes approximately 3 minutes to warm up before you can start making copies.
1. Open the cover.
2. Press the power switch to the On position.
The Please wait message indicates that the printer is in the warm-up stage. You cannot use the printer
during the warm-up stage.
POWER OFF
Before you power off the device, ensure that all job processing, copying, and printing is completed. Ensure that the
Data indicator is not illuminated.
1. Press the power switch on top of the printer. The printer powers off.
2. To continue to power off the main power, ensure that the control panel touch screen is blank and the Power
Saver indicator is not illuminated.
3. Open the front cover.
4. To power off the main power switch, press the main power switch to the zero [0] position. When the main
power is off, the Main Power indicator is not illuminated.
