Configure General Settings
17. Click Defaults in the Fax menu.
18. To print a Confirmation Sheet after every Server Fax job select Edit, in the General section, then select
On from the drop down menu. The Confirmation Sheet specifies the success or failure of the Server
Fax job. If the fax is successful the location of the document on the fax server is also specified.
19. Check the [User Name] and [Domain] boxes if you want these to appear on the Job Log. The Job Log
is filed in the fax repository with the fax job.
20. Click [Apply].
Go to the FAX server
21. Configure the fax server so that it is able to monitor the fax repository for documents. Refer to the
manufacturer's documentation provided with your fax server to complete this task.
At the Machine
22. Select the [Server Fax] button from the touch screen, then touch [OK].
23. Enter a valid fax number. Press [Add], then [Close].
24. Load a document in the document handler and press the green start button.
25. Verify that your fax is received at the specified fax machine.
You have completed the steps to enable Server Fax.
