Facility requirements
Check that the following requirements are met:
Environment
The drive must be protected from direct sunlight and rainfall.
Altitude
Maximum altitude for non de-rated operation is 1000 m (3281 ft).
De-rating above 1000 m (3281 ft) is 1% per 100 m (32.8 ft) of maximum nominal power.
Maximum altitude with UL approval is 2000 m (6562 ft).
Maximum altitude without UL approval is 4000 m (13 123 ft).
Ambient temperature
Activity °C (°F)
Operation -10 – 40 (14 – 104)
Operation in temperatures above 40°C (104°F) requires the SRC311
to have the output current de-rated with:
1.5% per 1°C (1.8°F) for IP55
2.5% per 1°C (1.8°F) for IP66
Maximum 50 (122)
Storage -40 – 60 (-40 – 140)
Humidity requirements
The relative humidity must not exceed 95% (non-condensing)
Air requirements
The air surrounding the unit must be free from:
Excessive dust
Acids
Corrosive gas
Salt
Input voltage
Depending upon the model and power rating, the drives are designed for direct
connection to the following supplies
Model Number Supply Voltage Phases Frequency (Hz)
SRC311-X-X-XXXXX-XX 200 – 240 V +10/-15% 1 50, 60
3
380 – 480 V +10/-15% 3
All SRC 311 monitor phase imbalance. A phase imbalance of > 3% results in SRC 311
tripping. For input supplies which have a supply imbalance greater than 3%, an input line
reactor is recommended. Alternatively, SRC 311 can be operated as a single-phase supply
drive with 50% de-rating.
