LED Status Display
The charger has five colored LEDs located on the top
of the charger. The LEDs are used to indicate the
status of the charger during operation. The order of the
LEDs may vary with models, but are labeled to identify
their function. See Figure 7. Convenience port LEDs
and charger LEDs should reflect the same charging
progress. If the LEDs do not match, the charger is not
connected correctly.
NOTE: If center LED illuminates and then flashes
towards the outer most LEDs, disconnect charger B(+)
lead from fuse and wait 10 seconds. Connect
charger's B(+) lead to fuse terminal and retest system.

INDICATOR PORT COLOR FUNCTION
Power ON PWR RED Illuminates continuously when AC power is present. If
flashing, refer to Troubleshooting procedures.
Abnormal Shutdown SDN RED Flashes if abnormal shutdown has occurred. Refer to
Troubleshooting procedures.
Detection Error DET RED Illuminates continuously when battery is not connected to
charger or battery voltage is less than 2V. If flashing, refer to
Troubleshooting procedures.
Charging CHG YELLOW Charge status indicator - flashes during charging cycle
Charged CHD GREEN Illuminates continuously when battery is fully charged.
Charging
WARNING
Do not disassemble the charger. Take it to a
qualified service agent when service or repair is
required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk
of electric shock or fire. The following procedures
are intended only to determine if a malfunction
may exist in the charger.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always
disconnect the charger AC cord set from AC
power and its DC cord set from batteries before
attempting any maintenance.
