The above SERVOPACKs require regenerative resistors. Regenerative resistors are built into all
of the SERVOPACKs in advance except for the SGD7S-470A, -550A, -590A, and -780A. If you
use the SGD7S-470A, -550A, -590A, or -780A, always provide an external regenerative resis-
tor. Refer to the following section for details.

The allowable frequencies for regenerative operation of the Servomotor without a load in accel-
eration/deceleration operation during an operation cycle from 0 (min

) to the maximum motor
speed and back to 0, are listed below. For the SGD7S-470A, -550A, -590A, and -780A, the
allowable frequencies are given for when a Regenerative Resistor Unit is connected. Refer to
the following section for details on Regenerative Resistor Units.

Convert the data into the values for the actual motor speed and load moment of inertia to
determine whether an External Regenerative Resistor is required.
