5. Click the Status tab to open the Status tab page, and check that the following settings are equivalent
to those on the Parameter Setting tab page in the module detailed definition window.
• Connection
• Protocol Type
• Code
If the settings are different, the data may not have been saved to the flash memory or the power to the Ethernet
Module not have been turned OFF and back ON, after changing or adding connection parameter settings.
Save the data to the flash memory and turn the power to the Ethernet Module OFF and back ON, and check the
settings again.
When the transmission parameter or connection parameter settings have been changed, the new settings will be
enabled upon saving of the data to the flash memory and turning the power to the Ethernet Module OFF and
back ON.
The parameter settings displayed on MPE720 will be saved by executing Save or Save to Flash, but always
turn the power to the Ethernet Module OFF and back ON to enable the new parameter settings.
