2.4 Checking the Communication Settings
The procedure for checking the communication settings of MPE720 version 6, and remedies, are given below.
1. Open the IP address confirmation window of the computer.
For details, refer to steps 1 and 2 in 2.3 Checking the IP Address of the Computer.
2. Start MPE720 version 6 and click Communications Setting.
The following dialog box appears.

3. Check that the IP address of the computer is selected in the Communication port drop-down list box
and the appropriate communication port kind is set in the Communications Setting dialog box of
MPE720 version 6.
If the communication port kind is not appropriate, select the appropriate communication port in the
drop-down list box. If the appropriate communication port or IP address is not displayed, refer to 2.5
