For security purposes, it may be necessary for you to change the AES keys on the IP
phone frequently. The process of updating the new AES keys includes decrypting the
configuration files with the old AES keys and encrypting them with the new AES keys.
After changing the AES keys, all encrypted configuration files on the configuration
server are expected to be encrypted with the new AES keys.
Procedure
AES keys can be changed using the configuration files or locally.
Change the AES keys.

Change AES Keys on page 160.
To change the AES keys via web user interface:
1. Click on Upgrade->Advanced.
2. Modify the values in the Common AES Key and MAC-Oriented AES Key fields.
3. Click Confirm to save the change.
