4.2 Call Pickup
You can use call pickup to answer someone else’s incoming call on your phone. Check with your
system administrator to find out if this feature is available on your phone.
The phone supports the following two call pickup features:
• Directed Call Pickup: allows you to pick up incoming calls to another phone.
• Group Call Pickup: allows you to pick up incoming calls to any phone within a predefined
group.
4.2.1 Picking up a Call Directly
You can answer a call that rings on another phone.
Before You Begin: The target phone receives an incoming call. Your system administrator has
enabled the directed call pickup and set the directed call pickup code.
Procedure
1.
Pick up the handset, press the line key or the Speakerphone key ( ) .
The DPickup appears on the phone screen (You may need to select More > DPickup).
2.
Select
DPickup on your phone.
3.
Enter the phone number which is receiving an incoming call.
4.
Select
DPickup again.
The call is answered on your phone.
Tip: When the phone is idle, you can use a Directed Pickup or BLF/BLF List key to pick up a
call to a specific contact directly.
