5. PARAMETER SETTING
5-1. Maintenance mode
Standard operation of the EXA instrument involves use of the maintenance (or operating) mode to set up
some of the parameters.
Access to the maintenance mode is available via the six keys that can be pressed through the flexible
window in the instrument cover. Press the MODE-key once to enter this dialog mode.
Note:
At this stage the user will be prompted for pass code where this has been previously set up in
service code 52 in chapter 5.
Automatic calibration See “calibration” section 6.

Manual calibration See “calibration” section 6.
(MAN.CAL)
Sample calibration See “calibration” section 6.
(SAMPLE)
Display setting See “operation” section 4.
(DISP)
Manual impedance check See “parameter setting” §5-1-4 and §5-3-5 code 51.
(MAN.IMP)
Temperature Set automatic or manual compensation and adjust manual reading
(when pH is set in section 5 service code 01). See adjustment proce-
dure in §5-1-1.
Set automatic reading (when ORP is set in Section 5, service code 01).
See adjustment procedure §5-1-2.
Hold Manually switch on/off HOLD (when enabled in commissioning menu
section). See adjustment procedure in §5-1-3.
