Installing Variable Speed Drive (VSD)
Use the following instructions to install the VSD as
shown in Figure 22 on page 44.
1. Attach the rigging chains from the overhead lift to
the two lifting holes (one at the top of each end)
of the VSD.
2. Lift the VSD by means of an overhead lift to the
condenser. Carefully lower the VSD onto the sup-
port on the condenser.
3. Install the VSD to the plate with the proper hard-
ware.
Ensure that enough bare surface has been
exposed for the VSD mounting plate to
provide an electrical ground.
