raised up by the MuC in case SuC refuses to execute the write
command.
- Remedy: Try to change one more time a parameter. If problem persists
replace controller.
16) M/S PAR CHK MISM
Alarm 0xFFDD = 221 Group #0 [M,S]:
- Cause: MuC compares its checksum of its own the parameters list with the
checksum of the parameters list in the SuC. In case they do not
match, MuC raises this alarm.
- Remedy: Check which parameter(s) is different between MuC and SuC and
update (write) the mismatching parameter(s). To easily fix the
problem, perform a CLEAR EEPROM.
17) MAIN CONT OPEN
Warning with E-steering motor controller off 0xFF30 = 48
Group #0 [M,S]:
- Cause: This warning is active when the steering controller is receiving via
CAN bus the information that the power line contactor is open.
- Remedy: This is not a problem in the E-steering motor controller: it is an
indication that the VCM has opened (or not closed yet) the line
contactor.
18) WRONG SLAVE VER.
Alarm 0xFFD2 = 210 Group #0 [M,S]:
- Cause: This alarm is raised by MuC in case the software release in MuC
and SuC are not matched (different release).
- Remedy: Download the same software release (same number) on both
microcontrollers.
19) ANALOG
Alarm 0xFFFD = 253 Group #0 [M,S]:
- Cause: At key-on, the A/D converter is activated and it is expected to
complete a conversion of the analog inputs within 16 ms. In case it
does not, this alarm occurs.
- Remedy: Re-cycle the key. If the problem persists, replace the controller.
20) TFD FEEDB. ERROR
Warning with E-steering motor controller off 0xFFD3 = 211
Group #4 [M,S]:
MAIN CONTACTOR other than OPTION #1 as to keep the
motor controller on.
- Cause: MuC raises this alarm in case the actual current and the set-point
current for the TFD stays unmatched more than 150 mA 120 ms
long.
- Remedy: The problem can be that the resistance of the TFD coil is too high
(coil broken), or the wires to the TFD coil broken, or a problem in
the controller.
