Crack
The crack test is similar to the burst test in that it finds the opening point of a device. But the
crack is more sensitive to smaller opening pressures, or parts that weep open. A second
pressure sensor is set on the downstream side of the part and monitors for the crack event. The
downstream transducer can also be a mass flow sensor.
