12V On / Off Control
Th e re ar pa ne l jack la beled " IR -IN", when n ot bein g used as a n IR
Jack, can al lo w the MAS7. 1 to be t ur ned o n and off u sing a 12 V con-
tro l voltage.

entitled: " Co ntrol Fu nctio ns ".
By en ab li ng th e 12V On/ Off c on tr ol option , the MAS7. 1 will tu rn
itself on whenever t he voltag e going i nt o the IR- IN jack g oe s from
LO W to HIGH , and i t will tu rn itse lf off wh en ever the vo lt age goe s
fro m HIG H to LOW.
Th e MA S7.1 on ly looks at transiti on s on th e IR-IN j ac k . For inst an ce if
it detects a LOW to H IGH t ra ns ition i t will tu rn it se lf on. The u se r can
then us e the power s wi tc h to tu rn off th e MA S7.1. After whic h the
vo lt age o n th e IR- IN jack m us t go from H IGH to LO W and the n back
to HIGH, to o nce aga in turn o n the MAS 7. 1.

A HIGH le ve l is any volt ag e from +3 V to +15V, o r any volta ge fro m
-3V to -1 5V.
A LOW level is any vo ltage b etween -0 .2V and + 0.2V.
