The 28010 Memory Management
Unit
manages

byte
main
memory
address
space
of
the
System
8000
CPU.
The
MMU
also
provides
the

both
oper~ting
system
and
user
tasks.

multiple,
independent
tasks
that
share
access
to
common
resources.

from

memory
resources.

Detection
of
incorrect
use
of
memory
by
an
executing
task

Partitioning

main
memory
resources
to
separate
user
functions
from
system
functions.
