3.1 I Operang principle
3.1.1 General operaon
Your heat pump uses the calories (heat) in the air to heat up your pool's water. The process to heat your pool's water to
the temperature you want may take a few days as it depends on the weather condions, the heat pump's power and the
dierence between the water temperature and the temperature you want.
The hoer and more humid the air, the beer your heat pump will perform. The outdoor parameters for opmal
operaon are an air temperature of 28°C, a water temperature of 28°C and 80% relave humidity.
Tip: to improve the heang and maintaining of your pool's temperature
Ancipate the commissioning of your pool far enough in advance before you use it.
When heang, set the water circulaon to connuous operaon (24/7).
To maintain the temperature throughout the season, run "automac" circulaon for at least 12 hours/day
(the longer this me the longer the heat pump will have enough operang range to heat up).
Cover the pool with a sheet (bubble canopy, canvas, etc.) to prevent heat loss.
The heat pump will be even more ecient if it operates during the warmest hours of the day.
Keep the evaporator clean.
Set the temperature you want and let the heat pump run (adjusng the setpoint to maximum will not
heat the water more quickly).
The appliance must operate in pool water with the following properes:
pH 7.2 - 7.8
Residual chlorine 1 - 2 ppm
Alkalinity 80 - 125 ppm
Total dissolved solids ≤ 3000 mg/L
Hardness 200-300 ppm
