3.1 I Operang principle
3.1.1 General operaon
Your heat pump uses the calories (heat) in the air to heat up your pool's water. The process to heat your pool's water to
the temperature you want may take a few days as it depends on the weather condions, the heat pump's power and the
dierence between the water temperature and the temperature you want.
The hoer and more humid the air, the beer your heat pump will perform. The outdoor parameters for opmal
operaon are an air temperature of 28°C, a water temperature of 28°C and 80% relave humidity.
Tip: to improve the heang and maintaining of your pool's temperature
• Ancipate the commissioning of your pool far enough in advance before you use it.
• When heang, set the water circulaon to connuous operaon (24/7).
• To maintain the temperature throughout the season, run "automac" circulaon for at least 12 hours/day
(the longer this me the longer the heat pump will have enough operang range to heat up).
• Cover the pool with a sheet (bubble canopy, canvas, etc.) to prevent heat loss.
• The heat pump will be even more ecient if it operates during the warmest hours of the day.
• Keep the evaporator clean.
• Set the temperature you want and let the heat pump run (adjusng the setpoint to maximum will not
heat the water more quickly).
The appliance must operate in pool water with the following properes:
pH 7.2 - 7.8
Residual chlorine 1 - 2 ppm
Alkalinity 80 - 125 ppm
Total dissolved solids ≤ 3000 mg/L
Hardness 200-300 ppm
