Troubleshooting Communication Issues
The following table summarizes common communication messages you
may see when exporting patient data, and their associated description
and/or recommended action. If the ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator is not
working properly, contact ZOLL’s Technical Service Department for
assistance. See “Contacting Technical Service” on page 27 for more
information.

Message Description/Recommended Action
CLINICAL ARCHIVE
UNAVAILABLE
There are no clinical archive files (.crd)
available to export.
DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE The data transfer through Wi-Fi is finished.
UNABLE TO EXPORT REQUESTED
FILE. INTERNAL ERROR.
The file export was not successful.
Verify the Wi-Fi configuration and try the
export operation again.
UNABLE TO SAVE FILES. PLEASE
ENSURE THAT AN EMPTY USB
FLASH DRIVE IS SECURELY
INSERTED INTO THE DEVICE.
The AED cannot save the files to the USB
flash drive. Verify that there is sufficient
space to export the file(s) to the USB flash
drive, and that the flash drive is inserted
properly into the unit.
UNABLE TO TRANSMIT
REQUESTED FILE
The attempt to export the file to the USB
flash drive was unsuccessful.
Try the file transfer again.
