After
completing all of the connections, you will have to match the
level settings of the 9050
to
those of the musical instrument and the
amplification system. This may seem to be a bit involved and
troublesome. However, once it's accomplished, you should never
have
to
make these settings again,
as
long as you keep the current
connections intact.
1.Adjust the input gain level while playing the connected
musical instrument.
Begin the
setup
operation by setting the lcvels of the connected
equipment. Set the musical instrument to the level at which you
normally play, then adjust the input gain level of the 9050 so that
the red
LED
on the 9050 occasionally lights up when the volume is
at the
maximum.
2.
Press
the
UTILITYIPAGE
key.
Set the 9050
to
match the characteristics and the playback method
of the amplfication or mixer system. Enter the Utility Mode of thc
9050 by pressing the UTILTTY/PAGE key. The display shown
below will
appear.

From this display, you can set the characteristics and playback

cursor, and only the parameter indicated by this cursor can be set.
Try
pressing the EDIT

between the parameters on the left and right.

Change the settings
by
using the
DEC
-/INC
+
keys.
With the cursor
in
front of the left parameter, press the INC
+
key,
then the
DEC
-
key.
"LINE"
and "AMP" will alternately appear at
the left in the display.

The
parameter cur-rcntly shown at the cursor position is the function
used
to
change the characteristics of the 9050 to match those of the
playback system. The 9050
is
designed to provide consistently high
sound quality whether played through a conventional audio system
or a guitar amplifier.
Select
LINE
when using a conventional audio system or when
recording directly
to
a tape recorder, and select AMP when using a
guitar amplifier.

vomehrnen. Dies mag anfangs etwas lbtig erscheinen, ist aber nur
einmal erforderlich, sofem Sie die Verbindungen nicht indem.

Stellen Sie den Eingangspegel eh, wiihrend auf dem
angeschlossenen Musikinstrument gespielt wird.
Beginnen Sie den Einstellvorgang. indem Sie die angeschlossenen
Gerate auf dtn normalen Pegel einstellen. Stellen Sie das
Musikinsment auf dcn Pegel, mit dem es normalerweise gespielt
wird, und regeln Sie dann den Eingangspegel
am
9050 so ein, daB
die rote
LED
gelegentlich bei Pegelspitzen aufleuchtet.

Driicken Sie die
U'I'TLITY/PAGE
Taste.
Stellen Sie den 9050 so ein, wie fiir die angeschlossene
Vcrstihkeranlage oder Mischpult benotigt. Aktivicren Sie hierzu die
Hilfsfunktion-Betriebsarl
durch Driicken der UTILITYPAGE Taste.
Die unten gczeigte Anzeige erscheint.

wird
veriindert, urn das
Verhalten dcs 9050 an das Wiedergabesystem anzupassen. Der 9050
sichert gleichbleibend gute Klangqualitat,

Wiedergabe uber eine herkommliche Stereoanlage oder einen
Gitanenverstiirker erfnlgt.
Wiihlen Sie LINE wenn Sie eine herkornmliche Stereoanlage
verwenden oder wenn der 9050
direkt an ein Tonbandgerat
angeschlossen ist.
