The pop-up menu
is
a menu that lets you assign the settings of
various functions, such
as
monitoring of the control change and
program change numbers,
to
the pop-up keys so that they can be
immediately called up. It
is
independent from the other functions of
the 9050.

Memorizina Program Chanae Numbers
The 9050
can
switch patches under control of program change
messages sent by the optional Foot Controller FC50 or a MIDI
equipment such
as
a synthesizer (refer to page 74). To
be
able to
quickly switch patches during a performance, it is best if the patches
you want
to
use have consecutive numbers. This function uses the
program change table
to
assign patch numbers to program change
numbers. This lets you quickly select different patches, even if their
memory numbers are far apart.
To use the program change table, the
FC50 (REMOTE
IN
jack) or a
synthesi~r or other MIDI equipment (MIDI
IN
jack) must be
connected to the 9050. Also, the program change mode (Utility
mode, page
3-2)
must
be
set to MAPPING (refer to page 56).
After you've selected the Patch that
is
to
be
registered to the
prograrn change table by pressing the PRG-CHG LEARN (DEC
-
key)
in
the Play mode, then continue holding down the key. The
display changes
as
shown below when holding down the PRG-CHG
LEARN (DEC
-
key).
In
the lower right of the display, the bank
and
patch number of the
cunently selected patch are displayed. In the lower left, the message
"waiting" is shown.
This
indicates that the unit is waiting for a
program change message. Send the program change message from
the FC50 or MIDI equipment while keeping PRG-CHG
LEARN
(DEC- key) depressed. The program change number appears in the
lower left of the display.
This completes the learning process (in this example, patch number
99

When you release PRG-CHG LEARN (DEC- key), the unit returns
to
the Play mode.

Der 9050 kann Patch-Programme in Abhihgigkeit von
Programmwechselanweisungen
des Foot Controller FC50
(Sonderzubehor) oder eines MIDI-GerAtes wie 2.B. einem
Synthesizer (siehe Seitc 74 umschalten. Um wiihrend einer
Darbietung ein reibungsloses Umschalten zu ermtQlichen, ist es
wiinschenswert, dal3 alle zu ver wendenden Patch- Programm-
Numrnern fortlaufend sind. Diese Funktion verwendet die
Programmwechsel-Tabellc,
um beliebige Patch- Programm-
Numrnern den Programmwechsel-Nurnmem zuzuweisen. Darnit
komen Sie schnell zwischen verschiedenen Patch- Programmen
umschalten, auch wenn deren ursprilngliche Speichernummern weit
auseinander liegen.
Um die
Prograrnrnwechsel-Tabelle
zu benutzen, muB der FC50
(REMOTE IN-Buchse) oder ein Synthesizer oder anderes MIDI-
Gerat (MIDI IN-Buchse) an den 9050 angeschlossen sein.
AuBerdem mu13 die
Programmwechsel-Betriebsart
(Hilfsfunktion-
Betriebsart, Seite
3-2)
auf MAPPING gestellt sein (siehe Seite 56
).
Wenn
Sic durch Druckcn der PRG-CHG
LEARN
(DEC

Taste)
in
der Spiel-Betriebsart
das
zu registrierende Patch-Prograrnrn gewmt
haben, halten Sie die Taste gcdruckt. Die Anzeige wechselt dam
wie folgt.
Rechts unten im Display werden die Speicherbank und Patch-
Prograrnrn-Nurnmer des gegenwiirtig gewiihlten Patch-Programms
angezeigt. Unten links erscheint die Meldung "waiting". Dies
zeigt
an,
daf3 das Gerat auf eine Programmwechsel- Meldung wartet.
Schicken Sie die Programmwechsel-Meldung vom FC50 oder
MJDI-Gera~, wihrend Sie PRG-CHG LEARN (DEC- Taste)
gedriickt hal ten. Die
Prograrnrnwechsel-Nummer
erscheint
unten
links
irn
Display.
Hiermit ist der Lemprozcl3 abgcschlossen (in diesem Beispiel wurde
