5.2 WiFi Ne two rk Se tup
Thomas wants to set up a WiFi network so that he can use his notebook to access the Internet. In this WiFi
network, the WX Device serves as an access point (AP), and the notebook is the WiFi client. The WiFi
client can access the Internet through the AP.
Thomas has to configure the WiFi network settings on the WX Device. Then he can set up a WiFi network
using WPS (
Section 5.2.2 on page 73) or manual configuration (Section 5.2.3 on page 74).
5.2.1 Se tting Up a WiFi Ne two rk
This example uses the following parameters to set up a WiFi network.
1 Click Ne two rk Se tting > Wire le ss to open the G e ne ra l screen. Select Mo re Se c ure as the security level
and WPA2- PSK as the security mode. Configure the screen using the provided parameters (see
Section
5.2.1 on page 71
). Click Apply.
