Why does my 3Disc Scanner have horizontal stripes in the image?

Horizontal stripes in the 3Disc Scanner images are often due to mechanical issues within the reader or cassette. This can occur if the imaging plate skips in the cassette, the stage skips along the guide rods, or the Y-axis motor is faulty, causing fluctuations in the Y-axis movement speed during the readout process. To resolve this, you may need to replace the faulty cassette, perform a stage alignment, or replace the Y-axis motor. Also, if the 3Disc Scanner has been opened, external light can cause horizontal or oblique striping artifacts. Make sure to block any external light sources.
