IP, in secured HTTPS administration through Aastra Management Portal. This interface,

through a simple web browser.
5.1.2.5 High availability of Aastra XD
Reliability and availability:
A distinction must be made between system reliability and availability:
Reliability is defined as the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
Availability is defined as the Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
High availability of the AXD:
Availability of telephony services may be affected by the following elements:
Hardware: lighting, CPU problems (capacitor failure, microprocessor failure, etc.), ageing of a
component
Software: bugs
External links: operator/PSTN carrier link disruptions, IP network (LAN, WAN) failure
Network reliability: problem of voice quality, viruses, hackers
Environment: battery, humidity, heat
Human errors
AXD offers a high level of availability rate of 99.999% in duplex mode.
