Chapter 11 - Troubleshooting
11:4 Fault Indication
Status Possible cause
The main contactor or circuit
breaker is open.
• Check and close contactor / breaker
or any external switching device.
Fuse blown. • Check and replace the fuse in all
three (3) phases
Any external device open /
tripped.
The motor connection is not
correct.
• Check that there are no connections
missin
to the motor.
• Check that the connections are
carried out correctly
Shorted SCR at start. • Check and replace.
• Check that there are no connections
missing to the motor.
• Check that the circuits are closed
and correspond to the circuit
diagram.
Shorted SCR at start. • Check and replace.
The frequency is out of range.
(47.5 - 52.5Hz or 57 - 63Hz
• Check and correct the frequency.
The main voltage is not correct on
the line side.
• Check and correct voltage on the
line side.
