Local passwords can be changed only via the LHMI. Remote
passwords can be changed via the LHMI or WHMI or with PCM600.
If the IED-specific Administrator password is forgotten, ABB can provide a onetime
reliable key to access the IED. For support, contact ABB. The recovery of the
Administrator password takes a few days.
1. Enable IED user authorization at Main Menu/Configuration/Authorization/
Passwords in LHMI or WHMI.
2. Use the IED Users tool in PCM600 to change the passwords.
This tool cannot be used to add or change users.

3. Set the object property values in PCM600 to make the communication between
the IED and PCM600 work, if the remote authentication has been enabled.
