1 Introduction
1.1 This manual
The operation manual contains instructions on how to operate the protection relay
once it has been commissioned. The manual provides instructions for monitoring,
controlling and setting the relay. The manual also describes how to identify
disturbances and how to view calculated and measured power grid data to
determine the cause of a fault.
1.2 Intended audience
This manual addresses the operator who operates the protection relay frequently.
The operator must be trained in and have a basic knowledge of how to operate
protection equipment. The manual contains terms and expressions commonly used
to describe this kind of equipment.
