10.4.4 Warm restart from PCCU entry mode
This procedure restarts the device using the System Shutdown/Then reset function from the Station
Setup screen in PCCU. It causes the device to restart with the running (warm) configuration.
The procedure can be performed while on a local or remote PCCU connection.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This procedure requires Expert view.
To restart the controller using System Shutdown/then Reset:
Connect the PC running PCCU32 to the flow computer.
Launch PCCU32 and click Entry.
Click View on the PCCU32 menu and select Expert from the drop-down list.
Click the top item on the navigation tree. The Station Setup tab displays.
Scroll down to System Startup/Shutdown (Figure 10-12).
Select Yes from the System Shutdown / then Reset drop-down list.
Click Send.
Click OK to confirm.
