DISASSEMBLING THE BOTTOM
BLOCK
ONLY FOR TWIN-FALL CHAIN
HOISTS
For repairs or replacing, it may be necessary to
disassemble the bottom block.
Bottom block
Fillister-head screws
Unscrew the fillister-head screws (2x).
Dismantle the bottom block.
INSTALLING THE BOTTOM BLOCK

ASSEMBLING THE BOTTOM BLOCK
Bolt Buffer
Deep groove ball
thrust bearing
Deflection roller
Insert the load hook in the bottom block.
Lubricate the deep groove ball thrust
bearing on the load hook.
Lubricant: “High-Lub LT1 EP”. For details,
see “Lubricants”, page 85.
Insert the buffer.
Twist the chain straight and place it around
the deflection roller. The chain must not be
allowed to twist when it is placed on the
deflection roller.
Insert the deflection roller and bolt in the
bottom block.
Lubricate the needle bush on the deflection
roller.
Lubricant: "Kluber Staburags NBU 12
