Checking your meter
While the result of the control
test is being displayed:
Press the M button briefly once.
The symbol for control is
displayed (see also page 23,
“Marking test results” section).

Then remove the test strip from
the meter.
The meter turns itself o.
Discard used test strips
according to local regulations.
After marking the result as a
control test:
Compare the result of the control
test with the concentration table
on the label of the test strip
container.
The test result must be within
the specified concentration
range.
Make sure that you compare the
test result with the concentration
data that corresponds to the
relevant control solution used (1
or 2) and to the unit of
measurement displayed by the
meter (mg/dL or mmol/L).
