Only the secondary HDD module is a prerequisite to remove the upper cover.
Prerequisite:
Main and Secondary HDD Module Removal
1. Remove screws (A) from lower cover. (Figure 3-29)

3. Disconnect power board FFC (A) from mainboard connector (B).
