1.8.4 Reconfiguring the System
Reconfigure the system after installing or removing DIMMs.
Follow these steps to reconfigure the system:
1. Reboot the system.
2. Press + + during the power-on self-test (POST) routine to run Setup.
During POST, a memory error message may appear, indicating that the total memory
does not match the value stored in CMOS.
3. Press twice to exit Setup (see section 2.1) and reboot the system. The system
boots with the new memory configuration.
