2.9.3Disk Drive Control
The disk drive control features allow you to control the floppy drive or the hard disk drive
boot function to prevent loading operating systems or other programs from a certain drive
while the other drives are operational (under DOS mode only).
Table 2-2 lists the drive control settings and their corresponding functions.

Floppy Drive
Setting Description
Normal (default) Floppy drive functions normally
Write Protect All Sectors Disables the write function on all sectors
Write Protect Boot Sector Disables the write function only on the boot
sector
Hard Disk Drive
Setting Description
Normal (default) Hard disk drive functions normally
Write Protect All Sectors Disables the write function on all sectors
Write Protect Boot Sector Disables the write function only on the boot
